Olympia Harbor Days (OHD) an annual non-profit festival, celebrates the return of the vintage tugboats of the Puget Sound to Olympia for three days of entertainment, food, art, history and a last farewell to summer. Vintage tugboats, retired or working, are moored at Olympia’s Percival Landing where you can Tour the Tugs on Saturday. Be on hand Sunday as the tugs leave shore at noon to participate in the annual World’s Largest Vintage Tugboat Races & Show! The tugs race the deep channel of Budd Bay near Butler Cover

Solar 101 is a workshop designed to help homeowners decide for themselves whether solar is right for them.

Kirk Haffner, owner of South Sound Solar, presents this free workshop. Topics covered include how solar works in Western Washington, how to evaluate your own site’s solar potential, solar incentives and tax credits currently available, and system costs and returns. If allowed by the host, a free site assessment is available for all attendees. ($95 value. Design charges may apply.)
