Summer Splash! is the Museum’s signature summer-long festival. The event features three months of exciting interactive learning experiences designed to engage children and alleviate summer learning loss. Each month includes themed adventures, live performers, unique activities and special guests.
Solar 101 is a workshop designed to help homeowners decide for themselves whether solar is right for them.
Kirk Haffner, owner of South Sound Solar, presents this free workshop. Topics covered include how solar works in Western Washington, how to evaluate your own site’s solar potential, solar incentives and tax credits currently available, and system costs and returns. If allowed by the host, a free site assessment is available for all attendees. ($95 value. Design charges may apply.)
