Kirk wasn’t just a business owner; he was a father, a partner, a grandpa, a mentor, and a friend. Known for his warmth, kindness, and dedication, he was a true pillar of Thurston County—a man whose passion for solar energy was matched only by his love for people. Whether guiding a colleague, advocating for clean energy, or simply sharing a laugh, Kirk made everyone feel valued and supported.
His legacy continues through the five dedicated employees to whom he entrusted South Sound Solar. They will carry forward the work and the spirit of the company Kirk built, ensuring his dream lives on.
