Passion
Our Founder and president, Kirk Haffner, has been interested in the green energy movement for 40 years. As a former high school STEM teacher and with a UW master's in physics, he realized solar is an excellent renewable energy source for the Northwest. Education is a key focus for our company, and we participate in local events and community outreach to explain the benefits of solar.
Experience
South Sound Solar incorporated in 2008. Since then, we have installed thousands of systems and serviced many others. We bring out knowledge and expertise to all of our projects, no matter the size. Our crew and sales team participate in ongoing trainings to keep up-to-date on the cutting-edge technologies and building requirements. We are a founding member of the Solar Installers of Washington, a statewide association working towards reliable renewable energy. We are skilled professionals who create lasting systems producing energy for years to come.
